Subscription Terms

1. Overview

These Subscription Terms ("Subscription Terms") govern your subscription to TourKit Pro and any other paid services offered by TourKit ("we," "us," or "our"). These terms are in addition to our general Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.

By subscribing to TourKit Pro, you agree to these Subscription Terms and authorize us to charge your payment method according to the billing cycle you select.

2. Subscription Plans and Pricing

2.1 Available Plans

TourKit offers the following subscription options:

  • Free Plan: $0/month with limited features
  • Pro Monthly: $32.50/month, billed monthly
  • Pro Yearly: $240/year ($20/month), billed annually

2.2 Pricing Changes

We reserve the right to change our subscription pricing. If we change pricing for your plan, we will provide at least 30 days' notice before the change takes effect. Price changes will apply to your next billing cycle after the notice period.

3. Free Trial

3.1 Trial Period

New Pro subscribers are eligible for a 30-day free trial. During the trial period, you will have full access to all Pro features.

3.2 Payment Method Required

Important: A valid payment method is required to start your free trial. Your payment method will be charged automatically when your trial ends unless you cancel before the trial period expires.

3.3 Trial Eligibility

The free trial is available once per user. If you have previously used a free trial or had a Pro subscription, you may not be eligible for another free trial.

3.4 Canceling During Trial

You may cancel your subscription at any time during the trial period without being charged. If you cancel during the trial, you will retain access to Pro features until the trial period ends, after which your account will revert to the Free plan.

4. Billing and Payment

4.1 Automatic Billing

Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly, depending on your plan) unless you cancel before the renewal date.

  • Monthly subscriptions: Billed on the same date each month
  • Yearly subscriptions: Billed on the same date each year

4.2 Payment Methods

We accept major credit cards and debit cards through our payment processor, Stripe. You are responsible for keeping your payment information current and accurate.

4.3 Failed Payments

If a payment fails, we will attempt to charge your payment method again. If payment continues to fail, your subscription may be suspended or downgraded to the Free plan until payment is received.

4.4 Taxes

Prices displayed may not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for paying any taxes associated with your subscription, including sales tax, VAT, or other similar taxes.

5. Cancellation

5.1 How to Cancel

You may cancel your subscription at any time through your account settings or by contacting our support team at support@tourkit.software.

5.2 Effect of Cancellation

When you cancel your subscription:

  • You will retain access to Pro features until the end of your current billing period
  • Your subscription will not renew after the current period ends
  • Your account will be downgraded to the Free plan
  • Tours and content exceeding Free plan limits may become inaccessible (but not deleted)

5.3 No Partial Refunds

If you cancel mid-billing cycle, you will not receive a prorated refund for the remaining time in your billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until your billing period ends.

6. Refund Policy

6.1 General Policy

Subscription fees are generally non-refundable. However, we may provide refunds in the following circumstances at our discretion:

  • Technical issues that prevented you from using the service
  • Billing errors on our part
  • Other exceptional circumstances

6.2 Requesting a Refund

To request a refund, please contact us at support@tourkit.software within 14 days of the charge. Include your account email and the reason for your refund request.

7. Changing Your Plan

7.1 Upgrading

You can upgrade from a monthly to yearly plan at any time. Your billing will be prorated, and you will be credited for any unused time on your current plan.

7.2 Downgrading

You can downgrade from yearly to monthly or from Pro to Free. Downgrades will take effect at the end of your current billing period.

8. Startup Program

TourKit offers a Startup Program that provides 6 months of free Pro access to qualifying startups. To qualify, you must be:

  • A pre-Series A startup
  • Have fewer than 30 employees
  • Not have previously subscribed to TourKit Pro

Applications are subject to review and approval. After the 6-month period, your subscription will convert to a paid Pro plan unless you cancel or downgrade.

9. Service Availability

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance when possible. We are not liable for any damages resulting from service interruptions or downtime.

10. Changes to Subscription Terms

We may update these Subscription Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the Service. Your continued use of the paid Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
